Ingredients
800–1000g (28oz-35 oz) pork ribs
3–4 tbsp yellow mustard
1 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp onion powder
1 tbsp smoked paprika
1/2 tbsp cumin
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice (optional)
800–1000 g (28oz-35 oz) pork ribs
3–4 tbsp Coleman’s mustard or any other hot mustard you prefer
1 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp Mexican Chile Powder
1 tbsp cumin
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 150C/300F.
- Mix sugar and spices together until thoroughly combined.
- Coat ribs on both sides in mustard and sprinkle generously with salt and pepper.
- Coat eat side with a generous layer of the spice mix.
- Cover in aluminum foil and bake in the oven at 150C/300F for 1-2 hours or until the internal temperature has reached 145F/62C. For the last remaining 30 minutes, remove aluminum foil and bake uncovered until finished.
- When ribs are fully cooked, take them out of the oven and drizzle with a squeeze of lemon (optional). Let sit for 5 minutes before cutting.
Notes
For the last remaining 30 minutes, uncover and coat with your favorite BBQ sauce for extra deliciousness.
